Easy Updates automatically notifies users when a general update or build fix is available. Once installed alongside System Five, it allows you to configure update options tailored to your business needs. You can choose which machines receive specific components—install only what you need, where you need it.

For example: Install Training only on select machines.

Types of Updates

Easy Updates supports two types of installers:

• General Releases: Issued approximately every 90 days
• Release Candidates: Daily builds for bug fixes and customer-specific enhancements

Each server installation includes an auto-update task in Windows Task Scheduler to check for updates and notify users when one is available.

How It Works

Easy Updates is available in version 7.0.0.5 or higher and must be initially set up by our support team. Once installed, users can:

• Double-click the desktop icon to check for updates
• Configure updater behavior to suit their operation
• View update summaries including version and size
• Upgrade directly using the Easy Updater

If no updates are available for your configuration, Easy Updates will remain inactive until a new release is ready.
