In Q3 our Development team deployed over 50 fixes and enhancements, the most important of which resulted in a completely new mobile application called Windward System Five Sidekick

The app supports various use cases, such as linebusting, checking item details remotely, building orders in the showroom, and viewing stock levels at trade shows. It operates on any device with a signal, providing unmatched mobility.

REPORT_48 Back Order Report Enhancements

Several Back Order Report Enhancements have been completed:

  1. A new filtering option has been added to the Back Order Report to allow for filtering by Delivery Date Range.
  2. A new option has been added to the Back Order Report to allow filtering by Category or Part.
  3. New customizable columns have been added to the Back Order Report for:
    • Ship to Customer
    • Customer Unique Number
    • Customer Standing PO Number
    • Invoice Terms
    • Invoice Free Form Comment (1-20)
    • Customer Free Form Comments

    Please Note: the Customer and Ship-To Customer Free Forms are grouped together and use the same comment headers so a user will need to determine which is for Customer and which is for Ship-To.
  4. Back-Order-Report-EnhancementA new Sorting option category has been added to the Back Order Report: 'Category, Part, Delivery Date'.
  5. A new report saving template has been added to the Back Order Report. Note Part, Customer, Supplier, and Expected Dates do not save with the template. In an Inventory Item under the Invoice Backorders tab a 'Back Order Report' button has been added. When clicked, it will run the Back Order Report with the Inventory Item currently selected.Back Order Report Enhancement

BARCODE_48 Hardware Additionzebra-mp7000

Added support for the Zebra Core Scanner interface which supports the Zebra 7000 series scale / scanners, and should work with every other zebra scanner.


IW_48 Order Import

A change to how taxes are applied on imported orders has been made for the Ecommerce Staging order import, when importing from the new Sidekick App. When importing from the Sidekick App taxes will be calculated using System 5 tax rates as opposed to WebSell and WooCommerce imports that do not calculate taxes as they should be calculated for customers prior to taking payment on the website.


 ECOMM_48 Integrations

UI modifications have been made to the Calgary Coop Integration. The changes include removal of the 'Available Balance' display, removal of 'Use App Credit Card' button, and text changes to the buttons.

Windward has recently added a self-service updater for customers on version 6.2.4.479 or higher.
