I've had a soft spot in my heart for the Winnipeg band "The Guess Who" ever since I met them. That was years ago though, I was a Cub Scout on a tour of CBC studios and there 'they' were - dressed in hockey jerseys if I recall correctly. I do recall my parents saying the music of the Guess Who, Beatles and the Monkeys was just nonsense; meaningless. Yeah, but the beat was good and you could dance to it!
