All new System Five clients are provided access to standard introductory content in The Academy.
Learning Plans are already in place for specific industry verticals. For example, the “Garden Center Learning Plan,” is designed to help Garden Centers quickly train new seasonal staff in the spring.
New Learning Plans are constantly being created around every new product, feature, software updates, best practices, and more by our Windward Learning Academy staff.
A unique feature of The Windward Learning Academy is built-in accountability.
Each learning plan is comprised of a combination of documents to read and videos to view, followed by a self-testing system to ensure that comprehension and learning have taken place, not just consumption of the information.
In other words, it’s not Television.
The employee can’t just zone out: this is actual training that will help them do their job better and more efficiently.
As your company’s Academy Administrator, you can view how much of each Learning Plan content your employees have completed, including their tests and test results. This assists you in knowing that all your staff are up to date on a topic.
How do you access these Learning Plans?
The role of your company’s Academy Administrator comes with access to the library of Learning Plans, as well as the responsibility of granting your employees access to the specific Learning Plans they need to do their jobs.
Step 1: Assign an Academy Administrator Within Your Organization
Every Windward client that is registered in The Windward Learning Academy under their company name has one assigned Academy Administrator.
This person is given access to the library of Learning Plans and, in turn, assigns them to your staff and management through the Administration section within the Windward Learning Academy.
An initial Learning Plan specifically for your company’s Academy Administrator is a priority, as it explains how to assign Learning Plans to other employees.

Step 2: How to Sign Up Your Employees
Before the Windward Learning Academy Administrator can authorize access to the Academy, an employee must be added to our Active Directory.
Your company’s Academy Administrator simply needs to send an email to academy@windwardsoftware.com, and include:
• Your Company Name;
• Employee first and last name; and
• Employee email address.
We will send login credentials directly to each new registered employee.
All employees registered in The Academy will automatically receive introductory content for viewing, including a video on how to utilize this online learning resource.
Step 3: How to Get Logged in
a. Go to the Windward Learning Academy Landing page at:

b. Log in clicking the word "Login", located at the top right of the page.
