We've been busy here at Windward Software in Q1!  In addition to these great enhancements, we released an entirely new support experience for our customers. In case you missed it, here's the announcement.


RENTAL_48Rental Invoice Renewal

In the Rental Renewal Function there is a new option to preserve the Original Invoice Clerk. This will retain the Original Clerk whenever modifications or returns occur on the Invoice.

Why is this important? This enables the easy tracking of sales and commission results when a rep signs a recurring rental.


STA_24Sell Through Allowance

STA Enhancement Change Request: Instead of line total, the individual inventory quantity price will be included in the description line for using A-type invoices for STA reporting.  This change satisfies reporting requirements for vendors like Whirlpool.


REPORT_24Sales Analysis Report

A new Report, the Sales Analysis Report, has been added to System Five. This report allows you to filter based on invoice type and custom date range or by book month. The grid exposes ship-to and bill-to info, is customizable, printable, and can be exported to excel. The report can also be saved for ease of recurring use. 

This report requires some configuration to enable.

Additionally, the Current Rentals and Invoice Find grids have both been modified.

The Invoice Find grid has two new columns that can be made visible through customization. The two new columns are a “Bill to Customer” and a “Ship to Customer” column.

The Current Rentals grid has a new “Ship To” column that is hidden until made visible through customization. It shows the Ship to Customer Name for the related invoice or the item.

ECOMM_24eCommerce

These enhancements are related to the tech required to connect to a variety of eCommerce carts. We are currently in Beta for the Windward Connector, but it was worth a mention because the general release is right around the corner. Contact your Account Manager if you are ready to get started on an eCommerce project and would like to be considered for the Beta test.

Windward Connector

Category Mapping Interface: An interface created to allow a user to complete the Category and Inventory mapping for their eCommerce cart. 

Tender Type Mapping Interface: Created to allow a customer to map the tender type in System 5 to tender types in their eCommerce cart. 

These enhancements will allow a user to add/edit mappings without the intervention of a developer or PS assistance.

Woo Commerce

These enhancements are now in beta for our connection to Woo Commerce carts.  Inventory Sync and importing orders into Windward System Five are both supported.

AVB LINQ

Added the ability to integrate with AVB LINQ to update the Virtual warehouse with client-specific virtual parts. The new virtual warehouse parts will include information such as:

* SuppPart/part number * Description * List/RetailPrice * Brand

Completion of the MegaSalesConnectorAPI, MegaCatalogConnectorAPI and the tie-in for both to the Windward Connector for the fulfillment of the Mega AVB LINQ Integration.


Windward-Payroll-IconPayroll

Windward Software updated Windward System Five's Payroll Module to incorporate 2021 tax changes in Canada and the United States. Windward also launched a self-service updater to deploy payroll module updates. The announcement with instructions can be found here.
 

Now it's easier than ever to Update to 6.2.4.x 

Windward has recently added a self-service updater for customers.  You can receive a link with instructions from your account manager.

Customers are required to be on an active Windward Maintenance Contract or a Windward System Five on Cloud subscriber to install or receive product updates.  The Windward Maintenance Contract is a standard annual business expense for all Windward System Five users.  Windward Software is in business to support your business, and this plan allows us to bring value to you when you need us most. We put together this top three video to explain what's included.
