We are excited to announce the release of Windward System Five Version 7.0.0.x. This new version brings with it a host of new features and improvements, including enhanced security, support for high DPI monitors, and improved PDF printing. We've even snuck spell check into rich text areas of the software. In this post, we'll go over the new enhancements and features that come with Windward System Five V7.
Dark Mode, Light, and Classic Colors Themes
Windward System Five V7 now offers Dark Mode, Light, and Classic Colors themes. This feature allows you to customize the look and feel of your system to your preference. Whether you prefer a dark or light mode, or the classic color scheme, the choice is yours.
High DPI Monitor support
Windward System Five V7 now supports high DPI monitors. This means you can enjoy a crisp and clear display on your high-resolution monitor.

Windows Notifications
Windward System Five V7 now shows notifications as Windows Notifications instead of dialog boxes or S5 taskbar notifications. This feature enables you to receive notifications in real-time, keeping you up-to-date with the latest system updates and changes.

Tokenized Payments
As with 6.4.0.x, Windward System Five V7 does not store or transmit credit card data and therefore has limited PCI scope. Merchants with recurring payments or "cards on file" will need to convert to a tokenized payment processing solution such as Netepay Hosted.
PDF Printing
Windward System Five V7 uses a new PDF printing engine that improves PDF support and increases quality. This feature ensures that your PDF documents are of the highest quality, making them easier to read and share.
